My earliest memories of Ron were about 1965, when I had just finished high school, and first met him when he had a beautiful 1951 Chevy Belair hardtop that he had painted a Cadillac firethorn green metallic. He was quite proud of it, and rightfully so. He was living in Farview near Susquhenna at the time. He was a very accomplished automobile painter, and I would several years later see him in the paint department as a supervisor at Kenworth, when I briefly worked there. Over the last several years, I frequently would see him at cruise night at McDonald's, and even when it wasn't cruise night, he was often there, always with a friendly smile and wave. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family and many friends. Darrell Fike
